A sealed airbox for the N52 that draws cold air through the factory front scoop and keeps engine bay heat out. Bolt-on, factory MAF position retained, no tune required.

What it does

Cold air from the factory scoop

Connects to the factory front scoop duct, so the filter is fed from outside the engine bay instead of the hot air around it.

Sealed from engine bay heat

A fully enclosed housing isolates the filter, so the air reaching the throttle body stays cooler and denser.

High-flow filter included

Replaces the factory paper element with a filter matched to the housing for a straighter, less obstructed path.

Factory MAF position kept

The housing is sized to hold the stock MAF sensor correctly in the airstream, so there are no check-engine surprises from a mismatched bore.

A better intake note

Opens up the six-cylinder sound under acceleration without turning your daily into a drone box.

Made to live in the engine bay

Carbon Fiber ASA is heat and UV resistant, so it won't warp, sag or go brittle over time with a textured finish

Install notes

Direct replacement for the factory airbox, using the existing front scoop duct connection.
MAF housing bolts in place of the factory unit. No recalibration or tune needed.
Allow 2–3 weeks for your kit to be built, inspected and shipped.

It completely transforms the sound of the car when you get on it. Great quality, perfect fit, and worth every penny. Couldn't be happier with it!

Honestly I was skeptical at first, the install was a bit tough but also I suck at working on cars. But let me tell you. After I installed it, my 1 series felt like a new car. It had more torque in higher gears, the whooshing sound of intake at high RPMs is really addicting, and I’m not sure why but it even made my exhaust sound better and pop more. Maybe from the extra air flow? Either way I love it and I can’t recommend it enough!

Full disclosure, I was the first beta tester for this intake and donated my car for testing.

I didn’t expect this intake to change my car so much, it’s quite down low and then there’s a nice induction noise between 2500-4000 RPM and then after it sounds like loud wind noise like forcing air into a jet engine! Really happy with this and can’t recommend it enough!
